Terms of Use

Last updated: October 3, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using VideoDownGo at videodowngo.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the service.

2. Description of the service

VideoDownGo provides tools that can process certain public or authorized media links and prepare temporary downloadable files when technically supported.

Supported platforms, formats, quality options and availability may change over time because VideoDownGo depends partly on third-party websites, technologies and infrastructure outside our control.

3. Permitted use

You may use VideoDownGo only for content that:

  • You own.
  • You have permission from the rights holder to download or process.
  • Is in the public domain.
  • May otherwise be lawfully processed under applicable law.

You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of particular content is lawful and permitted by the applicable platform and rights holder.

4. Prohibited use

You may not use VideoDownGo to:

  • Infringe copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights.
  • Download or distribute content without authorization where authorization is required.
  • Access private, restricted or non-public content without permission.
  • Bypass passwords, account authentication, paywalls or access controls.
  • Bypass DRM or other technological protection measures.
  • Process unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or abusive content.
  • Use automated systems to overload, scrape, attack or abuse the service.
  • Attempt to interfere with the security, availability or operation of VideoDownGo.

5. Third-party platforms

VideoDownGo is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the third-party platforms whose public links may be technically supported.

Your use of a third-party platform remains subject to that platform's own terms, policies and applicable laws.

6. No social-network credentials

VideoDownGo does not require users to provide passwords or login credentials for supported social platforms as part of its basic download functionality. You should never submit private account credentials through VideoDownGo.

7. Temporary processing and downloads

Files generated during processing are intended to be temporary. Download links may expire, and temporary files may be automatically deleted after a limited period.

VideoDownGo does not guarantee permanent storage of any processed media. Users should save authorized files they wish to keep before a download link expires.

8. Service availability

We may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue all or part of VideoDownGo when necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, infrastructure changes or technical reasons.

We do not guarantee that every submitted link will be supported or that a third-party platform will remain technically compatible with the service.

9. Abuse prevention

VideoDownGo uses security measures including Cloudflare Turnstile, request validation and rate limiting. Requests may be temporarily rejected or blocked when automated or abusive activity is detected.

10. Intellectual property

VideoDownGo does not claim ownership of third-party media submitted by users. Rights in that media remain with their respective owners.

The VideoDownGo name, website design, original software, branding and original content may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

11. Copyright complaints

Rights holders who believe VideoDownGo is being used in connection with infringing activity may contactsupport@videodowngo.com.

Additional information about copyright reports and takedown requests is available on our Copyright & Takedown page.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

VideoDownGo is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every platform, error-free processing or the continued availability of any particular feature.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VideoDownGo and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses resulting from use of, inability to use or misuse of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. User responsibility

You are responsible for the links you submit, the content you download and how you use or distribute that content. VideoDownGo does not grant you rights to third-party media.

15. Enforcement

We may restrict or block access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, respond to abuse, comply with legal obligations or enforce these Terms.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when features, infrastructure, legal requirements or business practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.

17. Privacy

Our processing of information is described in the VideoDownGo Privacy Policy.
