How to convert TikTok to MP3
- Open the video in the TikTok app or in your browser and tap Share, then Copy link.
- Paste the link into the box above and press Analyze link.
- Open the Audio tab and choose MP3 if it is listed, then press Download.
When is MP3 available?
It depends on the video. The analysis shows the options that really exist for that TikTok link, and VideoDownGo does not invent formats:
- For many videos the Audio tab offers an MP3, prepared from the audio of the video.
- For some videos the original audio is already an MP3 file. It is then offered as Original audio and VideoDownGo does not convert it again, because re-encoding would only make a copy.
- Some links have no audio option at all, for example when the video has no separate audio available.
MP3 is offered when available for that source: if the Audio tab does not list it, that link does not offer one.
TikTok audio vs TikTok video
The Video tab saves the clip with its picture, as an MP4. The Audio tab saves only the sound, which is smaller and handier when you only want to listen. It is the audio of the video you pasted, not a search in a music library. If you need the picture too, use the TikTok video downloader.

Can I download only the audio from TikTok?
Yes, when the video offers an audio option. The Audio tab lists what exists for that link, for example an MP3 or the original audio. If it lists none, that link cannot be saved as audio only.
Why is MP3 not available for some TikTok links?
MP3 is offered when available for that source. Some videos have no separate audio, and when the original audio already is an MP3 it is offered as Original audio instead of being converted again. Private, removed or login-only videos cannot be processed at all.
Can I use TikTok to MP3 on my phone?
Yes. VideoDownGo runs in your phone browser: copy the link in the TikTok app, paste it here and choose an option. Where the file is saved depends on your browser and device.
Can VideoDownGo convert private TikTok videos?
