Last updated: October 3, 2026

1. Respect for intellectual property

VideoDownGo respects intellectual property rights. The service is intended only for content that users own, have permission to process, is in the public domain, or may otherwise be lawfully downloaded or processed.

VideoDownGo does not grant users any ownership or license to third-party content. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of downloaded content complies with applicable law, the rights of content owners and the terms of the relevant third-party platform.

2. What VideoDownGo does

VideoDownGo processes certain public or authorized media links submitted by users and may create temporary files for the purpose of delivering a requested download.

VideoDownGo is not designed to bypass private accounts, passwords, login requirements, paywalls, DRM or other technological access controls.

3. Reporting suspected copyright infringement

If you are a copyright owner, an authorized representative, or otherwise entitled to act on behalf of a rights holder and believe that VideoDownGo is being used in connection with infringing activity, you may send a notice to:

support@videodowngo.com

4. Information to include in a copyright report

To help us review a report efficiently, please include:

  • Your full name and contact information.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work or other protected material you believe has been infringed.
  • The specific VideoDownGo URL, submitted media URL or other information sufficient to identify the activity you are reporting.
  • A description of why you believe the use is unauthorized or infringing.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • A statement that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may require additional information before they can be evaluated.

5. What may happen after a report

After receiving a sufficiently detailed report, VideoDownGo may investigate the reported activity and, where appropriate, take reasonable measures such as restricting processing, blocking abusive requests, preserving relevant operational information when legally required, or taking other steps reasonably necessary to address the complaint.

Because temporary download files are designed to expire automatically, the reported file may already have been deleted by the time a complaint is received.

6. Temporary storage

VideoDownGo does not intend to operate as a permanent media-hosting service. Files generated by processing jobs are temporary and production storage is configured to automatically remove temporary job files after approximately 24 hours.

7. Good-faith reports

Copyright complaints should be submitted in good faith. Knowingly submitting false, misleading or abusive reports may have legal consequences under applicable law.

8. If you believe a restriction was made in error

If you believe that content or activity was restricted as a result of an incorrect or mistaken copyright report, you may contactsupport@videodowngo.comand provide enough information for us to review the matter.

9. Repeat or serious abuse

VideoDownGo may restrict access to users, requests, network sources or other identifiable abuse patterns when there is repeated infringement, repeated misuse of the service, fraudulent activity or other serious violations of our Terms of Use.

Because basic use of VideoDownGo does not currently require user accounts, enforcement may rely on technical measures appropriate to the circumstances.

10. Third-party platforms

VideoDownGo is independent from the third-party platforms whose public links may be technically supported. Complaints concerning content originally hosted on a third-party platform may also need to be directed to that platform or the original content host.

11. No legal advice

This page describes VideoDownGo's general copyright complaint process and is not legal advice. Rights and procedures may vary depending on jurisdiction and applicable law.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Copyright & Takedown policy when the service, applicable law, infrastructure or complaint procedures change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
