- Open the video in the TikTok app or in your browser and tap Share, then Copy link.

Which TikTok links are supported
VideoDownGo accepts normal video links from tiktok.com and the short links created by the TikTok share button (vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com). Links to profiles, sounds, hashtags or live streams are not videos and will not work.
What you can and cannot save
VideoDownGo works with public videos. It cannot and does not try to open private accounts, videos that require a login, or content that is no longer available. It does not bypass access controls of any platform.
A video being public does not mean you may reuse it freely. The creator keeps their rights, and music or other material inside a video may have its own license. Download only your own videos, videos you have permission to save, or content whose license allows it, and follow TikTok's terms. Read our copyright and takedown policy and terms of use.
Quality, format and temporary files
The result is prepared as a single MP4 with the best quality available from the source. Your file is stored privately and temporarily: the download link expires after a few minutes and the file is removed automatically after about a day. VideoDownGo does not keep a library of downloaded videos. See the privacy policy for how long operational records are kept.
If a TikTok link does not work
- The video is private or deleted. Open it in a private browser window; if you cannot watch it there, it cannot be processed.
- The link is incomplete. Copy it again using the Share button instead of copying part of the address bar.
- Region or age limits. Some videos are limited by country or age and are not available without logging in.
- A temporary problem. Platforms change often. Wait a few minutes and try again.

Can I download any TikTok video?
Only public videos that you have the right or permission to save. Private videos, videos that need a login, and videos that were removed cannot be processed, and VideoDownGo does not try to get around those restrictions.
Which TikTok links work?
Standard video links from tiktok.com (for example tiktok.com/@name/video/123...) and the short links that the TikTok app creates when you tap Share and then Copy link (vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com).
Which format and quality do I get?
VideoDownGo prepares the best quality available from the source as a single MP4 file. Choosing a different format or resolution is not available yet.
How long is my file available?
Files are temporary. The download link expires after a few minutes and the file itself is removed automatically after about a day. If it has expired, paste the link again to process it again.
Why did my link fail?
The video may be private, deleted or limited in your region, the link may be incomplete, or TikTok may have changed something temporarily. Check the link, try again in a few minutes, and make sure the video opens in a normal browser tab without logging in.
